The beasts of the forest have now started to emerge themselves quickly out of their isolated dens from to into the warm sun. Food is picking up for predators at this time. People walk the streets  and they are coming out of their warmer shelters, and the land is finally seeing peeks of grass and is a good time to relax.

Vampires

The Vampire is an immortal creature that was once human but now it must suck the blood of the living in order to survive. They are found in many cultures across the globe and take various forms. They are usually said to have supernatural powers such as transforming themselves to a bat, cat or fox to mesmerize and kill their victims. In Europe these beings rose from the grave to feed on the living during the night. They were said to be invincible and could only be killed with holy water, a silver cross, sunlight touching their skin or impaling them through the heart with a wooden stake. Garlic and hawthorn could be used to prevent these creatures from attacking. The signs that someone could be a Vampire were that they had no reflection in the mirror or that they threw no shadow. When people were randomly murdered in a village, whole graveyards were dug up to find the Vampire. - See more at: http://www.mythicalcreatureslist.com/mythical-creature/Vampire#sthash.4CXMTxBJ.dpuf

Demon

The word Demon is tend to be used to describe a sinister creature from Hell or the underworld. - See more at: http://www.mythicalcreatureslist.com/mythical-creature/Demon#sthash.1cM3rFgJ.dpuf

Werewolf

Werewolves are cannibalistic humans who have the ability to turn into a wolf at night to feed on other humans. This transformation takes place either at full moon, by wearing wolf skin or permanently being in the form of an animal by a curse. The cause of becoming a Werewolf differs from the various types. Some turn into a Werewolf by eating the brains of a wolf (which is practiced by Sorcerers), by being conceived during a full moon, by drinking water that a wolf has drunk, sleeping under a full moon on a Friday, living a bestial life, being touched by a wolf, eating certain herbs or by being cursed. They can be recognized in their human form as they may have different coloured eyes, a uni-brow above their eyes, short clawed fingers or fangs instead of canine teeth. - See more at: http://www.mythicalcreatureslist.com/mythical-creature/Werewolf#sthash.hSe3yyZP.dpuf

Shifters

In mythology, folklore, and modern fantasy fiction, shapeshifting is the ability of a being to physically transform into another form or being, either as an inherent faculty of a mythological creature, or by means of magic.

The concept is of great antiquity, and may indeed be a human cultural universal, present in the oldest forms of totemism or shamanism, it is present in the oldest extant literature and epic poems (such as the Gilgamesh Epic or the Iliad), where the shape-shifting is usually induced by the act of a deity; it persisted into the literature of the Middle Ages and the modern period (where the agency causing shape-shifting is mostly a sorcerer or witch), and it remains a common trope in modern fantasy, children's literature and works of pop culture.

By far the most common form of shape-shifting is therianthropy, the transformation of a human being into an animal (or conversely of an animal into human form). More rarely, the transformation may be into a plant or object, or into another human form (e.g. fair to ugly, or vice versa). More: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shapeshifting

Titans

These were beings born from the Giant Uranus and Gaia. Uranus saw them as such hideous beings that he had them imprisoned in Tartarus, the underworld which in some sources was the womb of Gaia. They were released by the Titan Kronos. He then gathered the mightiest of these Titans and fought Uranus in rebellion to his tyrannical rule. Gaia joined in and used a sickle to castrate Uranus. As Uranus died he cursed Kronos saying that one of the Titan’s children would grow up to kill Kronos. As a result Kronos ate every child that was born from his wife, Rhea. Rhea managed to hide one of her children from danger and named the child Zeus. Rhea then persuaded Kronos to regurgitate the children he had eaten. Kronos did and these beings were resurrected and transformed to became the Olympian gods. The gods fought many battles against the Titans and it was Zeus who finally overthrew Kronos. - See more at: http://www.mythicalcreatureslist.com/mythical-creature/Titan#sthash.LvFxZotu.dpuf

Dragons

Perhaps the most common and well known mythical beast who spans the all the mythologies of the world. They are all large reptilian creatures with scaled bodies. Some are predacious to man and usually have an appetite for young maidens. Many like the European ones of medieval bestiaries and of Norse mythology have bat like wings and four limbs. These are usually fire-breathing creatures that bring great destruction to mankind and live in caves where they guard treasure. They feature in Norse belief where heroes such as Beowulf overcame these terrible beast with strength and might. The most famed is Nidhoggr who lives in the world tree and is prophesised to return to the world of men during the great battle of Ragnarok. In medieval mythology the Dragons represent evil or the old pagan way that are defeated by virtue or Christianity. The Christian knight St. George is depicted killing the Dragon of the old English pagan beliefs. The Dragon also feature on the coat of arms as a Heraldic beast. - See more at: http://www.mythicalcreatureslist.com/mythical-creature/Dragon#sthash.BFuH6vlO.dpuf

Hybrids

Hybrids, in the mythical realm, are creatures that combine the features and body parts of more than one real species. There are non-human versions that combine features of one or more animal species such as the basilisks, the Chimera and griffins. Then, there are also part human combinations such as the very popular centaurs and mermaids. Now, these mythical creatures seem as they have all the capabilities of being formidable beings especially when having, perhaps even mastering the command of all the strongest features of each of it's mixed species.
